Terms and Conditions

The College of Midwives of British Columbia (CMBC) is the regulatory body that governs the regulation of Registered Midwives in British Columbia (BC). Its authority comes from the Health Professions Act, Midwives Regulation and CMBC Bylaws.

Under section 21 (2) of the Health Professions Act, CMBC must maintain a register of individuals who are regulated by the College. The Register helps the public confirm that an individual who is providing midwifery services in BC is registered with CMBC. This information is not to be used for any other purpose such as marketing or research.

Although CMBC makes every effort to ensure that all of the information on its website is accurate and complete, it cannot guarantee it.
